Firefox 3.0.9 fixes several issues found in Firefox 3.0.8:
* Fixed several security issues.
* Fixed several stability issues.
* Many users experienced an issue where a corrupt local database caused Firefox to “lose” its stored cookies. (bug 470578)
* Fixed an issue where, starting with Firefox 3.0.7, inline image attachments on popular webmail services (like AOL and AIM) would not display. (bug 482659)
* Large forms would sometimes take a long time to submit. (bug 426991)
* In certain cases, new windows would not have proper focus. (bug 446568)

Ja, hopefully 3.1 will also be released pretty soon. and 3.5 after that. 3.5 is supposed to see a major speed boost.

Do you also have the problem sometimes when a pupup tries to open, but firefox add on "adblock" blocks the popup, but then you browser re size into a small window?

Yes, you need to install the Tab Mix Plus add-on...

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1122

Then go into Tool Menu and choose options.

Click on the "Tabs" tab.. and you should see a new button called Tab Mix Plus Options. click that.

Under the Tab Mix Plus options there is a line "javascript pop-ups". Set that to open all pop-ups in a new tab.

Now to stop the tabs from re-sizing your window you need to do this...

1. Go to Tools > Options
2. Click on the Content tab
3. Next to where it says “Enable Javascript”, click on Advanced
4. Uncheck the option “Move or resize existing windows”

that should fix it.

I have my first ever FireFox crash with 3.0.8, okay it only happed 3 times but it still bothered me, so hopefully they're fixed :D

I've heard good things about 3.5 :D Apparently we'll be getting a cool "New Tab" maybe something like Chrome's. Does anyone know if they're going down the SandBoxing route again like Chrome?

Had another couple of crashes this weekend with 3.0.9, just updated to 3.0.10 which has MORE stability fixes.

Hopefully this time they got it right :)

I'm trying out Konqueror with webkit backend and it seems to kick my FFs ass when it comes to loading pages.

3.1 was renamed to 3.5, that's already in beta 4. 3.6 comes after than with the speeds boosts.

And the 3.5 Beta 4 was released today as well, quite a bit more interesting than stable release 3.0.9. :p
