Firefox bookmark no longer working

I use Firefox as my web browser, and have numerous bookmarks.
I recently accessed the Internet via an hotel wi-fi connection.
When I now click on my Facebook bookmark, Firefox adds the hotel's URL and Firefox fails to load the correct page.
I have checked the properties of the bookmark and they are correct.
How do I prevent Firefox from adding the hotel's URL?

Try Control-Shift-Delete clear everything, restart Firefox.

It's most likely how the network is setup in the hotel.
