FireFox

Uhm, is that the whole internet or just the fact that it renders pages more slowly than some of the others?

Obviously they haven't used FF 3.6 then because it is just not true for web pages... or the entire Internet. Now, millions of copies of IE6 still floating around on every XP installation, and we might have an international incident.

Well it's the whole internet.. Like even google takes longer to load in FF than in IE 8 or Chrome..

Er... you do know the Internet isn't just a few web pages, don't you?

On a side not: IE8 is a security risk and Chrome has given me too many issues, its just not there yet. Maybe Chrome 5 will show some promise.

IE has always been the inferior browser and has more inconsistencies than any other. Its a webdesigners nightware and requires more code to display correctly than FF or chrome
I mean theres even an acronym(cant remember atm) used amonst wed designers that the code will not work in IE

LOL I have heard my friend use that when testing websites on IE :D

So.. is chrome not good? I think I enjoy using it.. because it doesn't have anything added to it.. nice and easy..

Anyway, I don't know.. IE 8 haven't given me any problems yet.. and neither have chrome.. But now I'm actaully enjoying using opera.. The USB version..(I think that's what it's called.. ) It looks pretty awesome and works pretty well to.. although it doesn't sing while you browes.. so don't know who said it does..

Anyway, firefox.. maybe next time :P

I think Chrome 5 may be good, I used Chrome for about 3 months and was disappointed about it's hatred for Windows. But use Chrome, Opera or Firefox; they're all good - just avoid IE, it's a virus haven and a security risk (a bit like Jacob Zuma and his pillow talk).

In Opera you do it like this:

1. Press F12
2. Uncheck "Enable JavaScript"

That's all.

Like tabbed browsing - Opera had it first (and does it best!).

I've tried Opera for a few months, as well. I was not impressed. Perhaps after about 18 months things have changed, but I've given every browser it's day in the sun and Firefox comes out tops.

Admittedly on my work lappie I have to use FF for debug and programming websites, but in a personal capacity I've switched away from Opera and Chrome.

this is the first time ( about 1 month now) that i am using Firefox...and i think it rulez!
My webloading is faster, my security is better etc etc. I realy can't talk bad about Firefox...I'll recommend it 100%...and believe you me...i force EVERYTHING out of any program as i'm a developer myself :)

But don't you guy think that firefox has alot of add-on? it's so "busy" and "full" if you know what I mean.. it's like so complicated to handle..

If it's all good.. does it ever slow down the computer?

Oh and when you guys say firefox blocks off things, doesn't google chrome also do the same?

Like don't all internet explorers do that? (But is it just that fire fix does it more [better than the rest wise?] )

FF is a bit bulky, its like an American muscle car, its amazing what the addons can do (just about everything but make your coffee) thats why I like it (but I would never say complicated to handle, I used it straight out of the box for ages, no settings or addons)

on the other hand if you like your Japanese tuner car (Mazda rx8?) light weight, Chrome,

This argument is going to go on for ever BTW.....

You don't have to install the addons. Chrome kept coming to a grinding halt every time I tried to get it started in the morning.

Chrome I found uses just as much memory as Firefox. In fact I often found myself restarting the browser because of the memory leaks, which are taken up by several processes instead of one.
