Firefox3 Final in repo?

Do you guys perhaps know when the final version of FF3 will be in the Ubuntu repo? Also how do I check which version of the RC I have installed? It doesn't show in aptitude, neither in the browser itself.

It is already. Already installed via update on all five of my machines yesterday.

sorry... if you are running Hardy Heron, then you were using FF 3 beta 5

will update to FF3 final. Just run update.

That is weird. I promise you all of mine updated... both kubuntu and ubuntu. Will send you a screenshot if you want. I purposefully checked cos of the record thingy yesterday. I went and downloaded FF3 myself so that it counted for the record. But before I could install it myself I ran an update and it got updated in the list.... on all five machines. running kernel .19 now and FF3 Full version.

I know it is the full version cos it says so in the About box... but also cos I installed the latest Google Toolbar which would not work on the pre-release versions.

Have you changed your repository settings from the default at all?
 
Looks like I won't be seeing the final version for a while. I'm running 64 at home too.
 
A friend of mine has the same issue. He still has Gutsy. I've got Hardy, using za.ubuntu repos and I have the final release....

I use the Tenet mirror as it's damn fast from within the University.

I use the up.ac.za mirror if I have a network connection, otherwise I use the official mirror. I never have speed issues.
 
I think the official mirror might even be faster as we have a direct connection to UCT.
