Hi guys,
I was wondering.
a) Which routers allow you to telnet into them and give them commands as to which firewall rules to amend/add
b) Is it possible to (by default) send all HTTP traffic to a specific machine (as in a server) on the local network?
What I would like to achieve is some kind of authentication which I am in total control of.
Once they authenticate the server would then add a firewall rule with their mac address on there and they will be exempt from that FWD all HTTP traffic rule.
I was actually thinking I'd like to forward ALL network traffic to the server to begin with, so the PC can't communicate with anyone on the network before it actually authenticates to the server (for example, if they would like to play a quick 1 vs 1 match of Starcraft)
