I recently got a Sony Ericsson Vivaz, loving the phone, not bad for a Symbian device, all around very impressed.
Sadly, Vodacom have not released any of the newer firmware updates via Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS) and since they seem to be a few releases behind, I doubt they will soon. So I used an online paid service to debrand mine and get the latest generic flash.
Anyway, question.. do MTN/CellC/Virgin etc; do branding? Are they generic firmwares? I'm sure it's specific to make and models but it'd be nice to consider another provider next time.
