A Congolese inventor has unveiled what he says is the first African-designed smartphone.

The phone was initially due to go on sale in October but its launch was delayed [highlight]“because of an explosion in demand,”[/highlight] he said.

Agreed. Looks like it is normal practice. A year ago or so, some country made a tablet. On closer look inside, it was a typical Chinese tablet with custom set of components and logo.

Also don't forget about custom case and logo at back!
