"First black world cup" ??

Black and african are not synonymous with each other. If the celebrations here in cape town have proven anything to me, it is that South Africa truly is the diverse melting pot of cultures that i always knew it was. To call the world cup 'black' is to disenfranchise all the other peoples of this country from their involvement in this event. Nobody should ever take any Australian seriously when it comes to race issues and race relations, their own scarred history is an example of how backwards they are in such areas.
 
you hit the nail on the head.definitely ignorant, pity we live in a selfish country where the few cronies enrich themselves and the poor not opening their eyes as the wool gets rubbed over their eyes
 
And no matter how 'black' are country is politically, some of you should remember that our economy is still largely white controlled. So this whole argument that SA is controlled and run by people of african descent is pure nonsense. If anything theres a delicate balance.

Yup maybe it is wrong, ignorant and retarded but without the blacks fighting for their freedom we would not be here today. We would still be banned from playing international sport.

Anyways whatever, i am getting involved in a silly argument when the world cup starts so soon!!!!!!!!

I do see your point though just pointing out that i do not think they said it to be nasty.

Big African Achievement. Shouldn't it be a big South African achievement?

Who knows, maybe Nigeria, Somalia or Zimbabwe could stage something even bigger?

Killa our own people who fought with our 'black' counterparts are being oppresses and being discriminated against even today. EU would have lifted policies even though.

When i see a sign saying no whites then maybe we can talk about oppression in reverse

well ive never seen a black person or a white one, only brown, light brown, even lighter brown, light pinky brown, light peachy brown and the unfortunate light pink pale grey but never black or white , oh wait once i saw a crime programme on tele and some one burnt to a crisp:D
 
I was listening to 5fm and this comedy guy came on saying there are no coloureds anywhere else in the world. In America you would be called black.

We have a factory that produces them in CT, deployment office somewhere i could not remember but kuk funny. I love it when people can joke about race rather than harp on it.

LOL rippoff you do get some close to black folk in africa but still more extremely dark brown :D. White's, holy cow england has them a plenty but not on a hot sunny day then they are red.

I think some peeps from wales are borderline pink.
