Anyone know where i can find a first generation xbox for sale? Already tried gumtree, OLX, Takealot, Kalahari and Bid Or Buy with no luck. Any help will be much appreciated.

Yip I have one with hd cables, remote and *** load of games, already software modded to play any game, light gun and another controller.
Also has xbmc installed

Aww dude that sucks, but speaking of software modding. Is it a battle getting that done yourself or would you recommend sending it to a professional. Keep in mind I have very limited knowledge of modding

It's a mission, you have to open the casing, live connect hard drives , have the right software on cd's.
I'll check mine when I have time and send you pics, maybe we can organize a deal and you can send courier around.

On board hdd has been upgraded to 400gb ide.

The light gun only works on old TV's and not the lcd one's.

Thanks Hemps, but I just found a guy in Roodepoort that has one. Unfortunately not modded but I know of a place that can do the modding. Thanks a ton for your replies.
