LG Electronics Inc said on Friday it would unveil its first Google TV next week, joining Sony Corp and Samsung Electronics Co in partnering with the search giant to get a foothold in the emerging Internet TV market.

I would honestly change the title to something along the lines of

"First LG Google TV to be unveiled at CES next week"

BUT, that aside, I like the idea of a "Google TV"... it still has a few things to prove though in my opinion.

What I find interesting it will be an Android TV not much other detail but that surely it must mean Chrome OS will die at least for TVs.

Microsoft has missed the boat. Kinect is such a trump card and hopefully gets hacked to work with this TV.

No need to hack it, Kinect is natively supported from Linux 3.0 onwards, same kernel that ICS and Google TV is based on, unless you referring to actual API's that applications can use.
