Something weird happened, a guy name Lance phoned me from a cellphone number a few times regarding problems I had with Telkom and he was very helpful. :D

The number was 11 digits long. And it didn't contain the international dailiing code +27. :p

The number ended in 072***33000, so I thought well maybe I remove a 0, thats not him, so I removed a 3, still not him.

I then dailed this "11 digit number" and it actually rang. Someone picks up after about 1 min and I ask might I speak to Lance?

And immediatly she replied: "this is not a Telkom number!"

So I say: I asked for Lance!

She replied again this is not a Telkom number!

1) How can you have a 11 digit number?
2) Why can Lance phone me from this number but I can't get hold of him and she doesn't know him??( it didn't diverted, because she said the same number)

They're doing it prolly to stop people from phoning them on that number and complaining about the poor service... :D

It could be a telkom techie that phoned from a pole! LOL :D ;)
