Fitch downgrades SA to junk status

rand probably being propped up by reserve bank ... but they can't do that for very long.

You forgot to add nr 4

4. The vote of no confidence goes ahead and he is voted out as president of the country, he is still president if the ANC. Which means they purge the cabinet of the minsters that voted against him, Install a Zuma lackey as president thereby making his position stronger. This is all a power play to strengthen his position and the downgrades will be blamed on White monopoly capitol working against them.

If the Vote of no confidence succeeds, there will be massive divisions in the ANC and I highly doubt Zuma will survive that as the ANC leader ;)
 
Vote of no confidence will never succeed. Never. And just to be clear, I wish with all my heart I am wrong.

True. Perhaps with a secret vote. But remember a secret vote cuts both ways. What about other parties members who secretly support the ruling party? Unlikely, but not impossible. And to be honest, I don't respect some coward who is afraid to lose his job and thus has to vote in secret. Let the votes be open so parties can see what their members are doing.
 
Love how he uses the term captuted yet totally ignores that there's much more credible evidence the Zulu chief is totally captured and every appointment he makes is just as captured. Yet he goes after the more vague white monopoly capital.
