It's not only Thor though, is it? There's a whole lot of people on social media doing the same, and as I mentioned in another thread yesterday, come 2019, I wouldn't be surprised if black South Africans choose the EFF instead of the DA.

So they're going to go for another round of screw ourselves by voting for the EFF just to spite white people?

I wouldn't be surprised when there's a 2020 thread about how they miss the days of only waiting 5 hours for an ambulance that never arrived..

Or they'll vote for any other party except the DA because they feel the DA is full of people like Thor and others on this forum? why would our people want to be associated with people like that?

And good for them when they vote in a communist party. They will get everything they want, then find out how the EFF's version of communism does exactly the same thing as every other incantation of it.
I am sure they will miss the days of having shops full of food. But at least those evil people on MyBB are not in power eh?

Sad indeed but You get the service from the people you voted in power. In this case criminals was voted in power who cares more about financial self gain than public service dekivery and they feel nothing for the people that voted for them, just like Mugarbage in Zim . Viva South Africa, where criminals rule.

Any other party which does not have white people who are full of nonsense and disrespect and look down on black people like the lot we see on this forum, any other party with different white people excluding the type of white people i've just described will do just fine, that's the same type we defeated in 1994, they have just found creative ways of surviving under the DA, we would indeed be very stupid if we were to fall for that " pretend like you care strategy", all that the comments on this forum do is to remind us of the nature of the beast that we dealing with, we see right through the nonsense.

The sad thing is that you are actually right. I fully intend to vote for the DA in 2019, but even though I am rather determined even I sometimes think I should maybe reconsider, when I see the kind of voters that they have. The best thing we as SA's can do now is to work together to get rid of butternut, and I think the DA is now our best bet. But racists will really have to reconsider their behavior, there is no place for them in the new SA.

You don't EVER vote for a party because they're the perfect party(TM). That is IMO voter's politics 101. Your vote can just as easily be against the group that is doing a crap job (so they can catch a wake up) or for democracy - simply to even the odds and make whoever happens to be in charge accountable. The name, the branding, all that lekker stuff is a smoke screen to grab you, unfortunately it does little more than divides people. Those who worship at the party's shrine will defend it against all odds and those who worship at the competition's shrine will badmouth it blindly. Nobody cares about delivery, reality, unity, the country, etc. etc. in that picture.

Right now ANC has a huge majority. Anyone (including ANC supporters) who think that's awesome is deluded.
Public servants are there to be held accountable. The minute parliment and you as a voter lose that ability (to hold them accountable), you can be sure the country is vulnerable to pillaging by greedy thugs.

People need to stop this party worship crap. These are public servants, not celebs!
