What does it matter, all SA EMS staff are leaving for other countries because of the attacks - the communities do NOTHING.
Bud, in the Western Cape you have what, 100 ambulances on during the weekend, you have 500000000000000000 people phoning in for stuff like "my boyfriend was stabbed 100 times" - we rush out there and find he cut his hand with a knife, if we query the caller "so you guys would come quick" but at the same time your mom is having a heart attack and you say that - but all 100 ambulances are running on calls where people lie to "get us there faster" - whose fault is that?
You are all quick to blame the government - and yes, you probably right, but there is so much more to what is going on - communities abusing us - using us as TAXI's etc - joh, if you all just knew what was going on and let's not even discuss how we are getting attacked, robbed, beaten etc.
i have to say, 1st hand experience that this is true. We took in a guy into the police station for robbing people, and outside the station stood an ambulance. We asked why they are standing there, they said they are waiting for a police escort, so that they could attend to somebody. Reason was that the community would attack them, and steal their things. Honestly, its really messed up
