Flash Forward: Yay or nay?

Just watched the first episode of ABC's new science fiction show - Flash Forward.

Don't know what to make of it yet. Maybe I will give it a few episodes more to make up my mind once I know what the storyline is like. It could hold some promise. Nice to see some familiar faces from 'Lost' again.

Anyone else seen this show and if so, what is your opinion about it?

A very good effective pilot episode. The only random thing was the kangaroo in the street but otherwise you don't always get such good pilot episodes to TV shows anymore. The storyline is also enticing. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season. Heard it was only thirteen episodes though. Good show

I actually thought that the kangaroo was there for a reason, but for the sake of not spoiling anything, I will not say anything.

Apparently this is ABC's attempt to get viewers hooked on a new show after Lost ended next year. They have not given the green light for it to be made into a 24-episode season, but all indications are that they will.

Prison Break also started life as a 13-episode season, as do most others, after which it is either cancelled or extended to a full-length season.

Lost season 5 and 6 will have 18 episodes. That was established a while back...

I'm really enjoying the series so far - seen up to episode 3 and looking good. I never watched Lost, so can't comment, but I think FF is going to be a hit.

I just hope that it doesn't turn out like that series Carnival a number of years back - started really well with great plot, then became just plain idiotic!

First 4 episodes have been great so far. Really enjoying it.
