Flash vulnerability exploited

Cyber-crooks are distributing .swf files (the Flash extension) crafted to exploit the new vulnerability in Adobe Flash in two different ways.

The people are getting more and more clever these days.... I have to give them that much credit. But with so many websites using flash these days it is bound to be exploited in some way.

noscript, it does wonders with FF, or run 64bit browser

I'm not really into Flash so I have limited experience in it but 64-bit does wonders too. Especially for virus creators.

I disagree, the web needs a vector based interface. The problem comes in when the technology becomes too complicated.

this is hardly new - came out about 3 weeks ago i think. even the sabc site was exploited and vulnerable swf files linked to their site.

if there is a weakness "they" will find it and use it.
