Flight Simulator 2020

If this game can cripple a 2080Ti, is it even realistic to expect Xbox X gameplay to look anything like these fancy YouTube videos?
 
Do you guys remember back in the day when everyone would see how many GB they could download in a month, and we all wondered who could possibly download 100GB a month without being nailed by the ISP?

Now here I am doing that in a matter of hours...
 
Installer completely froze at 38%. Restarting again. Probably 50GB wasted :|

And it's one of the worst installers out there... wouldn't surprise me if that fabled cracked version has a better (and faster) installer
 
Lol first flights did not go too well.
First, take-off attempt was bugged I think. Released parking brakes, full throttle but the plane did not move at all. Funny enough the airspeed was moving in line with the throttle/brake input but I did not move at all.

Next tried the instructor "learn to fly" mission and the plane was rolling violently based on my controls. Even the tiniest of input saw the plane rotate like 90 degrees. Flying with keyboard.

Yeah, I couldn't get the keyboard controls to work, so I dug out my old xbox 360 controller. Much better experience.

Getting the hang of it but keyboard controls still not great. Going to try the mouse hack now.
Graphics are really impressive. Screenshots and videos don't do it justice.
Getting around 60FPS @ 1440p on auto-selected "Very High". Haven't changed anything. Intel i7 8700, Nvidia 2070 Super, 32GB ram, 20MB internet.
 
Just bought Premium Deluxe in the Msft Store. 127GB download. I'm a real mampara for not checking minimum requmnts. My office PC has only 1GB VRAM, so unsuitable. Drat. Will have to wait.

Fail. Was not a bug. Must have pressed "active pause" key at some point. Got it again and eventually figured it out.

Changed graphics settings to Ultra @ 1440p and still managing around 30FPS in the most built-up of areas. It's actually a lot smoother than you think at 30FPS. Again, screenshots do not do it justice. When it's in motion it feels almost photo-realistic.

I don't see why they can't incorporate torrent technology into their installers...
 
Anyone want to play this beautiful game but not ready to fork out over a R1000 for this. If you have not used Xbox Game Pass yest, you can play it for a Month for R15. I love this game, just had some issues with my Joystsick and had to set it up myself.
 
Still downloading. Now I'm missing my upgraded fibre speed...
