Flowers on the plane?

That's why they filter it with HEPA filters.

A bouquet of Proteas on an airplane would be the death of me within minutes.

Well I honestly hope it works for me.

I bet the results will be the same without the flowers though.
 
I know of one shop that sells flowers at OR Tambo, but not sure about Cape Town International. Can any Capetonian confirm?
 
Cape Town airport domestic terminal does not have any flower shops.

You might be lucky, and get some in the Woolworths outside the exit gate, but I'd assume that she would have been there waiting to meet you, so that would be a slightly awkward purchase.

I'd suggest buying in JHB and when checking in, ask the flight attendant to assist: they can find a place to put them which won't bother all the allergy-sufferers (and lets face it, its not ALL flowers that trigger allergies/hayfever)
 
Thanks scud. Doesn't seem like a bad idea to get them before I board. I was just worried they wouldn't be in good shape by the time I land.

You will probably need to hold it in your hands for the entire flight. Otherwise someone will just shove their suitcase over it
