Fluid on tire panel

Hi everyone. So I noticed a few dark spots that look like oil on the passenger side of my vehicle, by the wheel panel. I haven't noticed it before and when I touched it, it was dry, I assumed it was as a result of driving abit more than usual today. On the inside panel theres maybe like a few spots here and there, most dry though one tiny spot was slightly wetish, it was brownish on my hand, though too little to tell for sure. I'v attached a photo of exactly what I mean. Not sure what it could be, could someone perhaps provide some help on what it could be, or is it nothing serious? View attachment 886424
Just as an edit, there are no leaks on the ground

you might have driven over something that splashed onto the wheel arch liner?

Its possible, though I don't recall driving over anything like that but its very possible. Just making sure that it isn't a leak, in particular a break fluid leak?

That you will most likely find on the inside of your wheel rim. Just keep an eye on your brake fluid container if you're worried about that.

Remove the wheel and inspect further? You really don't want to be driving around with that if it's brake fluid.

Have you checked the wheel dipstick to see if the O2 levels are low? On the outside of the wheel is a stick thing with a cap. Loosen the cap and unscrew the dipstick. Once the dipstick is out you can check the O2. Mine is onboard. But older models need to be checked manually.

Do you inspect you car for such things every day? If not, it could have been there for a while.

It's impossible for you to see and notice every little spill of fluid on the road even if you do not drive much, because you are really supposed to be keeping an eye out for other vehicles and pedestrians, so it's pretty believable that you cannot recall driving over any something like that.

OP you drove through something...

Fluid on the ground or the inside of the wheel rim that also puddles around the wheel on the ground in your garage or wherever...will most probably be a wheel bearing.

I've never come cross break-fluid leaking at the caliper, but that of course does not mean it cannot happen.

But any mechanical leak will much more obvious than those little specs...

Oh yes, another thing, why the bold? And no, you cannot use the first post excuse, you already used that on the slippery speed bumps thread.
Stop being a d!ick troll and answer the question or shut the fck up.

I'm with most and think you drove through something. On the other hand .... those tyres look like they need to be replaced.

Thank you to everyone who helped me. To those concerned about the tire tread, the tires are due to be changed on Thursday already.
