I am just checking in to hear whether anybody else with FNB was charged an international payment fee for Netflix this month?

Saw the fee on my statement this month but was never charged before.

Agent told me its due to the 2% international payment charge that came into effect with the new charges.

As far as I understand, this was only a revised fee for purchases in foreign currency, like on Amazon or if you have a US-based Netflix sub.

Amount was around R3.00 for a R159 sub.

There is a discussion in the ebucks thread about it.

Been charged as well. But it's always been there as far as I am aware, but rather than being included in the amount on the statement it is now displayed separately for transparency sake.

Have also been charged said fee for F1 TV, Youtube Premium etc.

Profits are down at the blood sucking banks, got to milk the customer for every last cent

Yes just saw this now charged R3.18 for "INT PYMT FEE-NTFLIX.COM"

Think i might have to give FNB a call they did this deduction 3 times in 2 days... :cautious:

^ 2 dedudctions - the other one was 3.18 into your account
Very odd, on the 7th they paid you 3.18, then on the 8th they took it back and then charged you 3.18

And ps+

I got nailed for a few things too. Netflix, Aramex (unsure if it's AGS or normal Aramex shipping), and Steam purchases.

The worst is bookings.com local holidays.

No charges here except when a foreign currency on Absa and Capitec. 2% normally.

I just see some from Google, when my wife buys things for her games in International fees. Nothing for Netflix, Prime or such.
