Why would one want a cheque account, if you look at the monthly fee of R100 vs the R40 of the credit card account?
And why would one want a petro card?
Just don't go over on the credit card for long, FNB will kill you with interrest. I think they have the highest interrest on CC than all of the banks.

The only benefit I see is 1000 points for 3 debit orders.

No, I understand it fully. The only useful points I can acquire to up my reward level is by having three debit orders on the cheque account. You are already misunderstanding how eBucks work.
Those points are only to up your Reward Level. Based on that Reward Level you get a percentage of stuff back in eBucks.
Using your Credit Card gives you double that percentage on every Reward Level.
ONLY Using your Credit Card for swipes also gives you 4000 points towards a higher reward level.
I make R1200+ back from eBucks every month which easily negates the R199 bundled price of the Cheque + Credit Card.
