FNB Credit Card ....

Yes, there are various security warnings and such that scroll in that window. Unlike POS FNB that keeps telling me about vhishing every time I log in and then me having to click on accounts to see my accounts. Capitec shows what I want immediately on login.

The ONLY flaw with Capitec is you can't pay multiple beneficiaries at once. That is it.

+1 Flip that is annoying.

There's a good reason for the phishing warning and I'm surprised that there are banks who leave themselves open to that sort of liability...

Tells me just how much I belong to the bank with my net worth, but then I smile because of ebucks.

Where do you go to see your ebuck balance? oh...

To my FNB login where the screenshot is from, then to My Rewards to see the specifics. Ebucks, the only reason I have FNB accounts.

#checkmate

Supersunbird probably has a Gold account, only the Premier ones (and upwards?) have that My Money thing.

FWIW, I agree with him - much prefer Capitec over FNB. Use FNB for my personal banking because ebucks, and Capitec for the side-business to keep it separate from personal funds. Simpler website, loads faster, less annoying. Wins all 'round.

On the CC issue - I've used my FNB card (Gold CC, Gold Cheque and Premier Fusion each in their time) at mall parking lots without problems. Probably just that mall that was the issue.

Also I have noted that FNB consultants that you speak to on the phone aren't always 100% clued up or consistent.

Afternoon everyone ....

Today I was a bit bowled over.

My credit card twice was rejected at a parking paying station.

A few minutes after it, I got an sms, invalid pin entered.

I went now to FNB, 1 hour later, and they said my credit card is a tap and go credit card, and for security reasons parking stations wont process if inserted.

Mmmmmmm, really ?

Same thing happened to me, went to
Pay for stuff at clicks and my card got declined twice due to wrong pin. Went to
Pick n pay put in my pin and it worked just fine.

My banker replied I need to "enable pin" via the ATM machine, using my credit card.

I looked up and down the available options in the menu .... couldn't find it.

Await FNB Card divisions reply on this

Does anyone know of a way to pay an FNB credit card by using another card? Such that it's a "swipe" transaction and not via EFT .

Possible... slide/spot apps these count as credit card purchases not cash advances.

Although using one card to pay for another one is a slippery interest slope so be careful...

That's why I don't want to do EFT. I want to increase card spend by paying the wife's credit card. Hence a "card swipe" transaction solves this
