Afternoon everyone ....

Today I was a bit bowled over.

My credit card twice was rejected at a parking paying station.

A few minutes after it, I got an sms, invalid pin entered.

I went now to FNB, 1 hour later, and they said my credit card is a tap and go credit card, and for security reasons parking stations wont process if inserted.

Mmmmmmm, really ?

Someone is fibbing.

I use mine at Menlyn all the time, I'll pay R5 tonight. Sometimes a specific machine doesn't work right, then I just use the next one. It ls also a new tap and go card, a feature of of no use at the parking machines.

I tried 3 different machines (twice at everyone), and I know the card isnt blocked as I bought online and swiped for stuff afterwards.

FNB Centurion wasn't very helpful so I logged a query to explain why

hideos? probably the best and most functional... if you want to talk about fugly, talk capitec. if you into 90s retro html websites, they should be your go to bank.

I've seen ABSA, FNB, Standardbank and a couple of others. I liked the old Absa interface before the embedded compact one. Haven't seen Capitec's.

We were placed first in the overall mobile banking category by the SITEisfaction® 2017 survey. The simplicity and great user experience of our internet and mobile banking resulted in Capitec being voted South Africa’s best digital bank of 2017.

You will be surprised by all the parking machines starting to accept tap and go: Mall of Africa and Lanseria works well.

"Move cursor over the message to pause."

:crylaugh:

Yes, there are various security warnings and such that scroll in that window. Unlike POS FNB that keeps telling me about vhishing every time I log in and then me having to click on accounts to see my accounts. Capitec shows what I want immediately on login.

The ONLY flaw with Capitec is you can't pay multiple beneficiaries at once. That is it.
