Just a heads up, if you're on the old fee saver, the minimum balance will increase to R35k next month. Think I'll have to find a new bank account.

I think something like this happened last year too - but it didn't apply to those who had the fee saver option BEFORE the changes. I think it was only for new applications.

Still await for confirmation about this. See the new client balance requirement is R50K.

Last year the requirement was R75K (and it increased from R15K to R20K) for existing clients

I must be on something else, then, because my minimum balance has remained at R9k regardless of bank fee changes over the years.

which package are you on?
On gold it was 9k,
on premier it was 20k (i think)
on another level, maybe private it was 50k...
Are they all going up, and for gold does anyone know what it will go to?

I just checked my letter regarding fees. For a Premier Account the minimum balance required is R35k

My wife still has her Gold cheque on fee saver, it's moved from 9k to 10k

Rest of them are a waste of time

On private it's R75K, which is unchanged.

Thanks Blunt, good to know :) i think i'll be fine. did she get an communication from FNB? i didn't seem to get anything.

No, I just logged into her online banking to download the pricing letter.

When you're logged in under the "News" tab click on the "Menu" on the left and you'll see "Pricing/Rewards Letters" which you can download.

that is for new persons who wants the fee saver.

Usually mid June yearly FNB sends a letter for "existing" clients on the fee saver (but who are on it for years).

thanks guys, okay so i'll stick to my gold fee saver. Just need to keep 10k at all times.
Much appreciated.
cheers

Look out for an update on the fee saver if you are an existing fee saver FNB client !

I see I got confirmation that the fee saver on premier is R35K now

Hello bundled option here I come

If I sign up for a new Gold Cheque account, would I be able to make use of the fee saver or is it only for existing accounts?
