FNB Online Banking - Worst Release Ever?????

i dont think its that bad... pity they didnt communicate with their customers properly about the changes though, so it came as quite a shock. The font is a bit icky, but other than that its not bad overall...

I think that the site navigation wasn't well thought out. Layout does look like a spam website.

You get the feeling it's a work in progress (and let's hope like hell it is).

They've probly upgraded their infrastructure and are (hopefully) in the process of bringing the UI up to speed.

It doesn't look THAT good but it works a lot easier. So now. Not the worst release ever.

Yeah its not good. Makes u want to rather use one of the fake websites designed to steal your details.....it works better and is less buggy.

I use FNB, Absa, Standard Bank and Nedbank Internet Banking. IMO, FNB is the best.

I don't you're gonna get many people arguing with that. But I think they've still taken a large step back in terms of their look and feel in the latest release.

Not the slickest, but it definitely works a whole lot better.

Overall its a win for me.

As long as it works how it looks is largely irrelevant. I go to internet banking to do thinks, not sit back and admire site.

Yes, but very often the look and feel has an influence on how easy/hard a site is to use

I like it, they just need to change the services location/tab. Otherwise I think it's pretty nice.

Tried to issue a withdrawal instruction on my 32-Day account and was told there was some internal error. E-mailed them and was told: phone this number to lodge the instruction instead. I would have appreciated a response along the lines of: we are fixing it right now. Instead, it seems that this problem won't go away yet and now it looks like the site is down for an unscheduled maintenance...

Also tried to make a payment to Edgars using the usual Edgars entry from my list of beneficiaries but only noted this morning that the Bank and Account # fields on the beneficiary proof of payment have suddenly disappeared as well. That payment better go through or FNB is going to have some explaining to do.

They doing some maintenance so some (or most) functionality is not available. Why on earth udring work hours. I was going to some payments but thought I'd better not risk it. I'll wait till this afternoon. Better be working

all seems to be working today.

Are they messing around with the online banking again? I just logged into my account and now there's no PayPal links anywhere and the PayPal account which was normally under Accounts is also gone.

Arghh... why the hell try to fix something when it worked before?
