Have not been ale to log into their online banking at all since yesterday.

This is the most useless bank I have ever had the misfortune of being a customer of.

I logged in right now, no issue. I logged in 3 times yesterday - no issue.

If the site was down, you would have no doubt seen quite a busy thread on this forum.

Must be something wrong on your side.

I logged in yesterday and this morning without problem.

logged on from pc and mobile with app ... the service is running just fine!!!

If FNB is the worst bank you've dealt with, then you should consider yourself rather fortunate. :)

Has anyone been able to buy prepaid elec or anything else yet? I know they have been having issues with that part of the system for a while now.

The IS network is having multiple peering issues. I was stuck in a endless update loop in Rift yesterday thanks to IS. And I have also been struggling to access the FNB site. However if I switch to another ISP the site is accessible immediately.

FNB is the best bank In SA, I stand to be corrected...online banking is just the bank...and I like their radio adverts.Mine was working just fine yesterday and today.

I log in everyday, no problems experienced. FNB is the most tech savvy bank in SA.

Working fine for me too yesterday and today. Funny how the bank is to blame for your ISP problems :D

How come I can log into Nedbank online banking without issue yet FNB just hangs?

I'll tell you the answer: all these bloody bits of software they make you install onto your computer are conflicting with one another! Trusteer and Rapport apparently have issues with co-existence on a Mac when using Firefox.

[mutters]

Oh, and I am sorry, FNB suck compared to Nedbank. :P

Dude, what software does FNB make you install? It's a website?

And, as I think a quick read through this thread will reveal, you're simply not gonna find too many people in agreement with you on this issue here.
I've been with FNB for close on 6 years and have had little to no issues. My wife, on the other hand, eventually moved from Nedbank to FNB coz they were so useless.

But, if your experience is bad, post on their facebook page, they seem fairly decent at responding there.

Every time you go on their site they ask you to install Rapport or Trusteer, can't remember which one. Very annoying.

But honestly, I have banked everywhere except Standard and these guys are the absolute worst I have ever had. Only reason I have an account there is because of PayPal.

I've never even had a need to call the Nedbank call centre. Not once in the 4 years I have been with them. Been with FNB for less than a year and so far I have had airtime purchases triplicated on my account, fraudulent activity on my credit card collection (very interesting story for another time) and total disdain from frontline staff in their branches (who it would seem are incapable of dealing with anything related to credit cards or online banking).
