I've done this and all was okay, but this morning my SIM was disconnected. I'm just going to get a new SIM for R60.
Just ordered the SG Note II from FNB.
They have the 32Gig versions available, in Titanium Grey and Marble White.
Can't wait for it to arrive.
R285 per month is a very decent price for it too.
It's still quite a bit cheaper at bfore, plus you get some free airtime. Today is the last day, however.
Where do you get the free airtime?

Already have a 500Meg data bundle added to my existing contract, so data is not a problem.
Get 400 minutes included in my contract for talktime, so that is also not a problem.
Getting R100-00 off from the standard price of R285-00, so I end up paying R185-00 per month, which works out to paying R4400-00 for the device.
The only problem is waiting for the device to arrive.

Bank charges are the same as they were before I moved to the Mobile option.

AFAIK the N7100 version that FNB is selling is not LTE enabled, the N7105 is the LTE version and Vodacom is talking about getting it in sometime in November, doubt it if FNB is going to get it this soon.
Just saw they haven't added it to the promotion page yet, you can only see it when you go to the order tab when logged in on online banking

Got the SMS this afternoon at 3 that they are processing the request and are checking to see if I qualify.
Probably only another 7-10 working days before I get a reply that the couriers will be contacting me shortly to check the delivery address, then another week or so before it gets delivered.
