FNB Stadium will go down in ruins if illegal mining continues

Maybe it should, that's the only time they will take it seriously , I remember a discussion I had with a friend of mine whose parents owned a platinum mine, they couldn't mine there anymore due to the illegal minors that caused several tunnel collapses and made the place unsafe for the workers (legal miners), even the cops couldnt get the illegal miners out.
 
Just seal the tunnels, period. If there’s anyone stuck inside, then too bad

Very strange - my cousin's wife's grandfather told me the opposite the other day. Diversity is our strength I suppose.

As in, literally kids mining?
 
I read about this in the Sunday Times.

Reporters interview these guys in the mines while they are mining and blasting.

But the cops say they cannot do anything about it....they just don't care, that's all. Especially since they have no concept of consequences...much like our government is run in general.

I was worried about this. Then I looked at the neighbourhoods that will get taken out. DA will lose some votes, ANC will lose some voters.

Considering what they get their kids to do that wouldn't surprise me, but I am sure you meant my typo which is exactly that, a typo, I am sure you got what I am saying tho.

What are the consequences?

First off, everybody will panic and try to sell their property on the market. Then they'll try to procure property on "safe" ground, nevermind EWC.

Secondly, banks and inn-sewer-ant companies will not like the losses they'll incur because of this. Come to think of this, maybe take this to the banks and inn-sewer-ants companies and tell them to get in a couple of recce's which they can pay to make the problem go away?

Thirdly, if JHB do collapse, it'll cause a major event on our country's finances... and one which we can ill afford.
