Am I missing something here? I'm at the checkout, in order to tap with my phone I need to:

(Via FNB app)

* Select Scan to Pay
* Log in to app
* Go Back because it's in QR scan mode
* Select Tap To Pay
* Confirm account

Is there any way to reduce the amount of steps? Once a day is fine but joh, 3 shops in a row this gets a bit much.

Tedium level 100. Is there any way to reduce the amount of steps?
What phone?

On my iPhone I just double tap the power button and it brings the card up, then just tap to pay.

Samsung. Figured I had to go via the app all the time. Haven't tried just tapping. Presumably it's still going to ask me to log in...not lus for a password entry every time.

So on Apple we have a wallet. I added the card to the wallet, which allows the phone to handle it instead of having to use the FNB app.

I assume Samsung has a similar wallet type app which should be able to take over this function.

If you are referring to samsung pay, scroll up, it brings up your card, then fingerprint verify and tap phone on speedpoint

Nah was using FNB app. **** knows why there's no direct link to tap with this.

Just add the scan to pay widget to your home screen. Sure it brings up the camera and you have to go back and select tap to pay, but it saves a bunch of navigating...

Do you want "scan to pay" or "tab to pay".

How?

All I do in fingerprint unlock my phone then bring it closer to the POS. Done. 3 seconds.
It automatically executes the payment on the FNB app without you needing to do anything in the app beforehand?

Samsung pay allows you to easily switch between cards, including cards from different banks, which is useful. It's also the only choice if you have a Samsung watch, so then you may as well use it on your phone.

As long as the phone is unlocked, you just tap. Done.

(Providing you set up the default card beforehand, obviously. I linked it to my virtual card).

Does anyone have the FNB app installed inside Samsung secure folder and does it work like that? I tried it the other day but got a 'system is currently unavailable' message. I'll try again soon, but I assume I'll need to unlock my phone and also the secure folder for it to work. And mobile data switched on?
