I Am one of the Suckers who Ordered and XBOX ONE from FNB the minute the site went live... Just wanted to Share all their lies and the Experience I am Having with them
The Pre-Orders went live on September 18th
FNB's Site States Pre-Order the device to Recieve it "ON" the 26th of September, So when i called in I was given so many Routes around my request to know what was happening with my order.
1) First agent told me there was no stock yet - So i responded that No Supplier or Retail Store reported that they sold out on the XBOX ONE so its impossible that they dont have stock. Asked to Speak to Management or Teamleader and they said they were in a meeting and would call back... (Obviously that call never came)
2) So i phoned again new agent... this one told me that the XBOX one was only launching internationally today on the 26th so the stock is only arriving today... Again i told them the XBOX Launched on the 23rd so they mustnt come and tell me Some **** like that... Asked to speak to the manager agent eventually said they would put me through (Guess what... They put me through to the Ghost network where no on is on the other end)...
3) I phoned back immediately this time immediately told agent 3 i am not going through the process of authenticating a 3rd time... I want to be put through to a manager asap... They put me through to a teamleader because thats as high as you can go... and so the back and forth argument began
First they wanted to argue again that stock arrives only today for the first time... so i said all is well (NOTE: its was 10am at the time) stock only arrive today but all bussiness starts at 8am so you received your stock at 8am and at 10pm you have still yet to place my order...
they said that the are going by first come first serve...
so again i said i wont claim i am first in line but i am sure i am in the top 100 to have applied...
They say they cannot tell what position you are in the cue...
i said if you are going by first come first serve then you can most definitely define where i am in the cue
Then they tell me that logistics says they are loading stock into the system... (Sounding like they have to unpack every box) (This was around 12:10pm today...)
so they have been loading stock for 4 hours...
i argue that if you are loading stock knowing that you were going to expect demand for this you should have had the people ready to process the stock to get it out faster...
And because of a clause in the terms and conditions they have the right to waiver the date... I told them if they said from that date then sure But they said on that date so by south african law we have the right to challenge them for falsely advertising...
seriously... anyone else having difficulty with FNB
They tried to say they had the same claims with the PS4, and I said if you experienced this with the PS 4 wont you have made preparations for the XBOX launch knowing how the demands are?
Clearly they do not take Business seriously...
What can I do... They strictly stated that you will receive it ON the 26ths of september???
They Think they can just tell us any stupid reason and we will just take it with a smile... even if its lies and stupid when they should have been more prepared
**UPDATE: after escalating it to the rbjacobs guy on twitter they resolved it within 30 mins... Got Order Number that I was expecting all morning
They complaints department contacted me about it and said they only received the complaint after i sent it on twitter...
Now I just have to get the courier to speed up the delivery...
