Focus on affordable internet

Maybe the only hope for African internet is to get the international agencies involved?

Every village ! No way ! pie i the sky.. Not even every city will have connectivity !

Having two PC's in a village does not help much. If there are 200 residents. each may get a 15 min slot once a month. What does that help ?

I have traveled extensively in West Africa. many area have cell coverage and expensive data option. That forms the communication for businesses but subsistence farmers cant afford more than a dollar or two a month on phones.

I wonder if the people who have these dreams have ever spent a few days living in Africa where there are no services. No running water, no tared roads, no network electricity, nearest hospital ( dodgy ) a day away by taxi.

In theory this sounds good.
As long as it can be rolled out, without any exploitation in the rollout and thereafter - even if it is 15 mins per person in the village. It would still have the power to change someone's life.
