Have you ever wanted to have all your favourite music videos/movies in your Android phone/tablet but couldn't because of limited media format on your device? I had the same problem untilled I recently discovered Daroon Player in Android market!

THE GOOD SIDE

- It's available for free!
- It supports a wide range of formats including MP4, WMV, AVI, MPG, MKV, FLV, VOB and a few more!
- A DVD folder from a memory card is supported and it displays like a DVD player would display on TV.
- Video and audio continues from where you left off.
- It even supports mp3/wma audio formats.
- You can even create playlists of mp3/wma and/or videos.
- It also has a History tab of what you did previously as well as time.
- It supports streaming, all the streaming protocols are supported (HTTP, MMS, including m3u8 for iPhone &iPad)

THE DOWN SIDE
Not everything is glitz and glam about it though, here's why:

- It usually crashes on my device and I have to force close especially when I want to watch a video BUT when it starts playing you are impressed with what it displays.
- You can't multi task your device when playing mp3/wma audio unlike the default player.

BOTTOM LINE, with that said Daroon Player is the most powerful free Android multi format player out there.
If you are a movie buff like I am and you wanna watch on the go anytime anywhere, Daroon Player is for YOU despite a few bugs I've mentioned. Go & get it!

I'd love to hear your thoughts about this media player ladies and gentlemen. If you already have it, what's you take on it?

Sounds like unstable software, which I'm sure most people won't even consider using.

I use Moboplayer. It works well enough, although there are some other good ones too.

Very nice tool. First one I've found that lets me stream videos from my Dropbox folder.

Thanks :)

Edit: Although, I couldn't find it on the Android Market. Grabbed the APK from the site.
