There are normally reasons for best practices. Just venting because of stupid things people are doing. Security is always the one place everyone cuts corners. Then when the excrement hits the fan they act all surprised and shocked. And with those dull expression on their faces " but why didn't you tell me".

Short of dressing up in a High Vis jacket with an air-horn blowing into your ears intermittently and in the breaks shouting "that is a bad idea! you shouldn't do that" what do you want me to do?

Everybody talks security but do anyone really care? Hell bloody no!

This is the core principal of TMS; no workarounds.
Safety is no.1 in any organisation.

I don't get what the video has to do with the comment above. Admittedly, I skipped through the video, as I couldn't get myself to watch more than a few continuous seconds.

You don't get the reference to "Bad Moon Rising"? Hmmmm dont know what to make of that... then don't worry about this topic xD

Cutting corners is usually a symptom of a larger problem.
A symptom of:
* Greedy bosses/company owners who are in it for max. profits
* Arrant fools in charge of a company
* Companies hovering over the edge of bankruptcy
