Forcing Details view on all Explorer windows in XP

Hi there

Is it possible to force Windows Explorer to default to Details view when opening new explorer windows? And also to enable the status bar at the bottom of the window by default for all windows?

I'm getting cheesed off by having to select "details view" and "enable status bar" every time I open a new window.

Yep. Enable everything you want to see in the window (details, status bar, etc).
Click on Tools, Folder Options, View (Tab) and click on "Apply to folders"

Open a folder, set its view as you want it...
Click Tools, Folder Options>View> Click Apply to all folders ..
