OP here :D:

What year you looking at?

I couldn't get finance for the asking price when I was looking for one in 2013, would have needed a big deposit (was looking at 2008 models).

1.6 can chow fuel. I was looking at the 1.3 rather when I wanted to get another one since I was happy with my 1.3 Ikon with the exact same engine,

I liked it and wanted one again but the cost put me off, should never have sold mine that I had.

I'm rather having myself a half ton trailer built that I can tow behind my Figo (which I had ended up buying instead of the bantam).

No real year model currently. I won't buy new, but I suppose anything from 2008 to 2013? The reason I'm leaning towards the Bantam now is because the wife has the Figo. I'm very happy with it so thought since I need a bakkie but don't need a big one, just something for the garden refuge and carrying small loads. There is no need to go buy a big bakkie again. 1/2 tonner is perfect.

Was looking at the 1400's but damn, they look so dangerous. Imagine being in an accident with a Nissan 1400  And the NP200 is damn ugly as fark.

If you want a bakkie for household use the Chev UTE or Corsa are your best bets. The NP200 is great as a workhouse, but if you aren't after the bigger loadbay and payload the lack of refinement will get to you.

I think that the last Bantams were built in 2011.

Yeah.. Bantams are a bit old now..

You will struggle to find a small half tonner for decent money that you can finance for the asking price though, they fly off dealership floors ridiculously quickly so they ask a premium.
