ford focus 2.0 tdci anyone owns one?? How good is it , fuel economy ect.
i like the look og it especially the sport package

i know someone who had an ST. they loved it, said the build was good, it drove well etc. just didnt like the fuel usage but thats a given from a 2.5 turbo. the diesel should be much better....

do urself a favor and just test drive 1, my brother has the 2006 model(the one before they put cruise control) economy; you can get 250 ks with aircon on a quarter tank, the low range torque on 6th gear is just freakn unbelievable, oh and did i mention the boot space. I cant imagine what the latest one is like(dont dig what they've done with the headlamps).
The latest ones come with sport suspension std, oh and the top gear team loves the focus in terms on handling and I 4 1 definitely concurr.Plenty of leg room:cool:
In terms of depreciation i think u literally loose R1 for every kilometre you drive:eek:

Don't expect too much of the cup holders :D
If they still placed at the same place as the older model, everything bigger than a tin will be in the way between hand and Gear nob. Not a big issue, but it does bother me.

!!!!omw nail on the head! Have a focus, HATE the cupholders with those rubber things always in my way also shallow and everything falls over

This is probably going to sound strange but the best cupholders i've ever used was in a Daewoo Lanos if i've spelled that correctly. Nothing about the car was impressive all plasticy but the cupholders impressed hehe Was a passenger on a long trip with a friend. It's like they designed the car around the cupholders :D

Hehe. Same in the newish polo's. The Cup holder on on the left from the radio, holds everything and anything, even when using clutch and handbrake around the corner :D
Cmon Ford, we want some decent cup holders in the Focus :D

O yes the polo's is great but it only holds 1 drink :(

The cupholder in my Impreza holds a quart of beer. :D But I only have one because the low range selector takes the place of the 2nd cupholder. :(
