Hi there

Has anyone after attending ACM Gold training ever traded and made money out of it?

What advise whould you give for a beginner trader?

Any reliable online free training material available?
 
The only fultime trader was MKFrost and he's last seen in December 2014. Some of us do it as an additional source of income

As for material, there are loads on the net. If you don't want to lose money the best way to trade is to copy trade an experienced trader until you'll learned the ins and outs.

Just a note: you will lose money, make peace with it now
 
All the symposiums are BS. Just marketing to sell their products.

Nobody will ever tell you how they make money on the forex markets. If you are paying for something - it wont work.

What you need is to go onto some forums and learn all the basics and get some practise.

is a nice place to start. There you can learn about how trading works and what news has to do with it - as well as some tips on news trading.

Otherwise places like http://worldwide-invest.org/ are where you will learn all the nitty gritty details on other trading systems.
 
FWIW I'm setting up a small site/forum thing for exactly these kinds of questions and discussions for the local community.

I started with it last week, but when I checked it a yesterday there were 60 odd porn threads created by bots :p
 
As trader with 13 years experience trading local market and forex I can only tell you one thing.

If you don't have steady income to cover your living expenses chances to make it in trading are slim to NONE.

I started trading while having job, and progress from there.

Icko,

I have just been playing around with IG's demo account and have been making trades on the spot of EUR/USD. Do you recommend them as trading platform? Are they legit and how is their pricing? Are they facilitators in the trade or do they act as the dealing desk?

What other trading platforms do you recommend?
 
Icko is one of a very, very small group of people who trade for their own account and are successful. Most disappear within a few months.

Are you going to come back to ALSI trading again or have you moved on to forex for good?
 
All of those guys are ok until something goes wrong :)

ALPARI was my broker and had best ratings but they went out of business. Luckily money was insured so I should get it back

Do you reserch on the web will find many of them.

I use MT4 for forex and swordfish for ALSI,

For now trying to stay away from ALSI, focusing on Forex. But will come back for sure.

Only difference is will trade longer term. After trading 4hrs on forex, trading 5min on ALSI looks like mad house :)

Oh okay, so no matter who you go with you dont have to use their web portal or platform but can use MT4 to connect to them.

Do I understand that correctly?
 
I make $50 000 a month and only work 1 hour a day. You can too, you just need to make the leap and leave your job to follow this dream.

Hello,

I am currently 20 years old and I am doing my intern-ship at Forex varsity.

You can definitely make money by trading Forex but some people have no control over their greed and then tend to lose more money than they make. You can achieve ROI of up to 25% a month on your account.

The big mistake that most new Forex traders make is that they want to learn themselves how to trade. This is GAMBLING. I would strongly advise every trader new or old to do a course on Forex trading.
