So I want to start Forex trading

I know the risks involved so let's save that discussion for somewhere else.

I will not be trading large sums of money, I'm thinking of starting small ($50) and try to build up equity ($1500) from there I will only use what ever profit I make for new trades.

I've narrowed it down to only trade XAU/USD

I'm playing around with a demo account but if anyone has some info or links on where to learn more, please share.
Please share any tips, links, videos etc

To reiterate I want to make some money on the side, aiming to eventually make $20 to $50 a day to supplement my main income.

Use thinkmarkets should have all the pairs you need. its also local and has necessary approvals.

also you say forex trading and XAU is gold...
also "day trading" is kak if you dont know what you doing dont pay for signals and to be honest find another hobby :P

Dont waste your time. Rather take your $20 per day and go to the casino and throw it on red or black

you must realise why.

I didnt say there isnt money to be made. But its not a get rich quick thing

Also using a real vs demo acc is not the same as you mentally do not react the same way to "real" trades.

I have messed around with trading for years whether it be crypto or fx gold whatever so I know what im talking about.

Also I have told you which broker to use in SA so I have answered your questions...

If as you say, you knew the risks, then you would not be as you say a beginner. You also wouldn't be here starting a thread about it.

As a renowned trader in my neck of the woods, I will give you free trading advice, as I have done for many others on MyBB. Just following my trading signal, but do the complete opposite of what I tell you to do. Then you will be profitable.

Also, you don’t need to trade forex for $20 a day if you really got that BBC. Use it and you’ll earn $20 an hour.

I’ve been trading as a side hustle for over 6 years. You won’t be a millionaire but you can definitely supplement your income.
Gold is a good pick.
I’d recommend saving and depositing $150 minimum rather and starting from there. $50 will be blown during a news event.

Demo trading and live are different; don’t get it twisted.
Use 0.01 and only increase your lot size once you double the account.
