Forget dark mode - Windows 10 launches "light mode"

Microsoft has announced that it is adding a light theme to its Windows 10 operating system.

Dark themes have become popular options on a variety of operating systems, including macOS Mojave, and Windows 10 previously implemented its own dark theme in its recent October update.

That's a very PC thing to do Microsoft, being inclusive of more colour modes.

I'd be willing to give it a shot. I prefer dark mode but its not consistently available across the UI. Maybe light mode will gel better.

I like it, but then again, I'm still on Windows 7.

If anything, it'll make Windows 10 feel more like Windows 7.
