Former Eskom Boss arrested

26 year old awarded 1 billion tenders. Where do these people live? How come she managed to stay under radar ? Generally there are fancy weddings, cars, photos on instagram but can't find much in this case.

I wonder if there is any possibility of recouping that money then? if she kept it on the low down there is a fair chance, unless she put it offshore.

Pretty sure AFU will attach most of the immovable stuff soon. Difficult to recoup what goes abroad - could be in tax havens.

She was just family bagman and I'm sure Koko told her no flash. He doesn't seem to have been too flashy himself.

Koko doesn't hold any actual political office. So he might land up in jail.

If he did, there was very little chance of him going to jail.
John Block was chairman of the ANC in the Northern Cape.

I guess you could say his power has been cut.

Shocking stuff.

Also the tenders were awarded to Impulse of which she "held" 25%.

John Block's conviction is simply an anomoly that happened DESPITE of the ANC. Would you argue that? Cool, show me the orange overalls.

It is an anomaly in a sense that he somehow managed to implicate himself in his own corruption and got himself convicted, that is incompetence of the highest order.

Aptly put.

Good news Thursday! Long may he rot!
I love your enthusiasm but let us not get carried away now. They got money and case will drag for at least 10 years. If AFU confiscates all their assets, that could lessen the time frame.
