Anyone playing Fortnite? Any tips and tricks or understanding how to play better. Game is really good fun, but would like to last longer than #13 or #8. How do you upgrade your player, etc.

Havent played save the world yet, will give it a go, but reffering to Battle Royale

I find getting to top 5 easy enough, finishing 1st requires building skills. Binding platforms to your extra mouse buttons helps if you have.

But to answer your question, firstly don't camp, that's horrible advice, land in the populated areas, maybe not Tilted Towers just yet, you can work up to that, but Retail Row.

Get in the thick of it, doesn't matter if you come 80th, the thing you're learning is to get into fights, engage people, get kills, die and repeat. You'll soon notice you get more and more kills before dying and soon you will be able to take the whole Retail Row and come out with all the loot.
