Scientific Method, Cold Reading, repeatable testing are some of the topics you believers in this nonsense should have a good read over.
If all these so called psychic mediums, fortune tellers and whatnot could /really/ do what they claim, they wouldn't be earning petty money on the street, or bigish money on TV (like John Edwards) .. they'd be contracting for the military, government agencies and bigger tasks like that.
She told me I had a near fatal accident when I was a very young child - I almost died in a car accident when I was 5 and spent 6 weeks in hospital. She told me I have never had much relationship with my father - spot on, he lived 800kms away since I was 2. She said some other personal stuff I'm not gonna post here that was true and it was freakily accurate and not stuff you can just guess.
So how does it work then? They need to be paid upfront and not after the balls have come rolling out the machine? They can't predict what the Lotto numbers are going to be. It doesn't quite work like that i've heard.

Interesting, however, did she say "you had a near fatal car accident as a young child", or did she just say "accident". I would say most children have near fatal accidents. And most people have a car accident in a 20 year period. So this is very vague. Do you have any visual scars from the accident?
