Fortuner opens without my keys?

Damn! What an uneventful night, still awake, listening to the swirling wind, blerrie Car is still sitting there, gate still locked....... Wonder if I should wait until 04:00am before going to snooze?

Anyone on the N2 inbound see a Namibian registered vehicle in the morn , just toot to wake me up please!

is it still there?

Yep! She still be there, with the current wind blowing in Gordon's Bay, I am suprised that it never blew away...

I reckon my timing was good last night and whoever opened the car must have wondered why a mere second or two after they unlocked it, it locked itself again....... Going to find a snake park today, think I might be making a few purchases....

Who wants to steal a fortuner? :D

My car alarm on my Audi went off a few times from the wind.

I had a similar issue on my jeep. My jeep would unlock itself all the time while driving. Turned out its was a loose switch on the driver side that controlled the central lock. Maybe take it in for a diagnostic test.

To cut out all the conspiracy theories.

The security system probably had an unrecoverable error and rebooted, and the default behaviour at reboot is to unlock.

The error was probably caused by radiation from space causing a bit-flip.

These things happen more often than you think.
