Who is amped for this game?

Can't wait to be honest and so glad it's on game pass from day one. I see people reporting that the demo is now available on ZA Xbox store.

Isn't this genre of Forza a bit more arcadey rather than a sim? If not I just might be interested.

The Forza series is more sim racing.
The Forza Horizon series is more like your need for speed type games

I'm fan of the Motorsport line myself. That said, Horizon probably has the best arcade handling in any racer I've ever played. There's also a lot of assists you can turn off.

im on like level 300+ or something on FH3

Game pass is like R160 a month or so, will wait for cdkeys to drop the price or loot to let it go for cheap

I paid R700 a week after release for forza 7

I paid R300 for FH3 from cd keys

I will be waiting for a month after release.

I preordered the Ultimate Edition of Forza Motorsport 7 and got burned - it was terrible. Won't make that mistake again. No more preordering and no more ultimate editions. Will wait for user reviews of FH4 to come out before I buy.

Critic reviews of FM7 were not critical enough - everyone was too busy looking at the graphics to realize the game just wasn't that fun to play. Maybe if you like multiplayer, but if you wanted a single player experience, FM7 is not for you.

FH4 looks like FH3.5 to me personally. New flashy cars, new flashy icons on the map, new flashy menu. Exact same driving experience as FH3.

Not that its a bad thing, i will definitely play it, but it doesnt look like its any sort of big leap in gaming

I actually agree with you but I don't blame the developers. There isn't much different they can do. The driving the festivals typed setup, speedtraps ect it's all been there since FH2 and since then it's basically just been a map update and weather addons and car updates. I don't think we will see a FH5 to be honest unless they move away from the festivals typed themes.

They would need to add more modes like derby and drag racing stuff but then it changes what Forza Horizon always been about Open world festival events and progression based game play.

I will not be buying FH4 instead I will just buy a 3 month game pass voucher and play the standard edition on game pass for 3 months and see if I can get a decently priced used copy later on. Not that Forza Horizon goes for cheap secondhand. Look at FH3 xbox one. Secondhand copies go for R300+ still.

Yeah FH3 is still very expensive. I got into gamepass because FH4 was gonna be part of it....
