Four arrested for SABC mugging

They will be famous on YouTube. Robbing a person while a TV camera is trained on him.
 
Is anybody else seeing the R100 000 reward for details or is it just me?

I disagree. It's the best R100k ever spent. Beats spending it on KFC or Nkandla. Best public money ever spent. At least those scumbag ****s were caught.

Any TV station would have done the same though.
 
FFS the 2 should be arrested for armed robbery not robbery/mugging.

At least we know where the 100K went not like the billions of other money in the coffers.
 
It would be 100K well spent if it resulted in the muggers being removed from society. This is probably not what will happen.

I think not, most crime is committed by locals. It may be that a large % of illegal immigrants do commit crime but relative to locals they're few. A study was done I think by the ISS or someone

Well in my area absolutely more than 50% of crimes are not by south Africans, more like at least 66% is foreigners. And I don't care what study what what, I trust the local SAPS stats more.

Well, they come from somewhere else to cause this **** here, which is even worse than someone causing **** in their own place. Crime for locals only, or are you not Proudly South African?
 
Most of the violent organised crime here is committed by foreigners.
 
If the law abiding people work with SAPS the criminals don’t stand a chance. The speed at which these criminals were arrested is proof of that. Well done.

The SAPS are lazy.......... I was a victim of a house break-in went to the police station wrote down a long summary (affidavit)... The detectives contacted me and told me they know someone fitting the description and that I should go to the person workplace.. Surely that is unprofessional. .I actually did take a drive to his workplace fearing for my life if it was him what would he do. They should have just handed me a book with mugshots.. He was albino. Easy to spot.

I have to congratulate the SAPS reacted faster than the armed response.... never thought house break-in would happen during the day... I spoke to my neighbour and she did notice something odd.. 9 occupants in the car. I was traumatic couldn't sleep over a year. Your personal space is violated.. .. After that ordeal you learn to beef up security.. The community(neighbours) do nothing they planned it while in advance...
