Four arrested for SABC mugging

The criminals were only arrested cause og the media attention /video went viral and a reward was offered. The story made news overseas,even aired on a news channel and they wanted to interview the journalist.

If every criminal gets some media exposure time crime would drop drastically and rewards must be offered for the general public to come forward.. Check how many videos there are on YouTube from credit card skimming cards being used... car jamming. House break-in caught on CCTV. The list goes......

Someone is R100 thousand richer.
 
Update MILPARK ROBBERY SABC TV CREW - if you or anyone you know has been the victim of smash and grab near Milpark hospital please notify the police. Apparently they have recovered a whole lot of belongings there as well as the SABC crew's stuff.

Are you saying that if it wasn’t for the reward people wouldn’t have come forward with information that led to the arrest of the criminals?
If they were arrested due to media exposure why doesn’t the media run more articles on wanted suspects?
