But I'm open minded as well.
BTW, the same Bible also says that you should love your fellow man. (pun not intended)

Can't believe that 'paper' is still going...can someone translate, the afrikaans words are too big for me....I'm more used to 'kombuis' afrikaans

I'm afrikaans and must say it is really sad to see the trash the Rapport puts on their front page (Huisgenoot stuff) compared to the english paper, Sunday Times. I guess i'm even more saddened that this paper obviously sells with this kind of crap as headline news, not sure what to think of the afrikaner reader tbh :). I bet you, if there's an earthquake in Haiti, Rapport will run a story on Joost and Sunday Times will run a story on the earthquake...

Mmmm I think that is very short sighted of you. I know far more stuck up english people than afrikaans people. Maybe a judgemental person like you just brings out the worste in afrikaners?

Ps ek gee nie om of jy afrikaans is nie maar as jy almal onder die slefde kam skeer is jy pateties en eindelik bietjie eenvoudig.

En almal het hulle vêr regse sektes en rasiste, almal het ook hulle outydse groepe en liberales ... Kan jy nou meer die engelse het dieselfde so ook die Zulus, Xhosas en ek is amper seker daarvan die Chinese ook

Die rede hoekom ek spesifiek Afrikaners genoem het is omdat die meeste aanhangers van rugby in SA Afrikaans is. Ek is ook trots daarop om Afrikaans te wees maar ek het ook al gesien hoe baie Afrikaners nogsteeds homophobies is.
 
Why do we care what the man does in the privacy of his own bedroom WTF. Gay / Straight the issue is does the man play good rugby? YES then to HELL with what he does in HIS private time. South Africa is becoming like the UK. The private lives of so called celebs has become front page news. This tabloid crap should not get MORE exposure it should be condemned.

Let's focus on the job at hand, not side show crap

No, it is true: I found out my hairdresser was straight the day I realised he gave me a bad trim! Changed to a moffie chop-chop!

Okay, just taking the P but the homophobes and sexuality statements I must disagree with. Many homophobes genuinely do not like queers for no reason other than the queer's choices. It really is possible - saying that homophobes necessarily have their own sexual issues is like saying Nazis are worried people will find out they're jewish...

Now, as for Frans, he can't be gay - he doesn't play for the Stormers for a start.

Seriously though I do know someone who was a real homophobe, until he starting become more open-minded. In the space of a year he turned from being a homophobe to being bi with a boyfriend! Still hard to believe the transformation tbh.

I have been told that we Afrikaners are more open minded nowadays than most English people. I can not say if this is true or not though. Just found it interesting.

As the others have said above....as long as he plays the game well, then who cares. As for his team mates being uncomfortable, well, that is their issue and should get over it. Just get yourself a soap on a rope if you that scared haha.
