Telkom called to offer my mother an A2core back in February 2019, She took the offer and the phone was delivered. Everything was well, no hikups none whatsoever! In September another call centre agent called to offer her an A80, they explained all the definite to her and she liked the deal hoping she will give it to my younger brother. The phone that was delivered in September was not what the agent promised my mum, it was actually the same phone that was delivered back in February. It's an obvious thing to sign for a package before opening it♀ she opened the package before the drive left and she gave it back to him when she noticed its not what she's expecting. My mother called telkom to let them know she's returning the phone and why. After a couple of days she gets an sms for sim activation of the A80 which she returned....She called telkom AGAIN to enquire why and to find out if she gonna be billed cos she doesn't have he phone with her...the agent told my mom she won't be billed and the issue will be sorted out. Month end she gets an sms notification from Fnb payment for the phone she doesn't haveShe call Telkom again and the agent asked her all sorts of questions and why did she sign for the package if she didn't want what was delivered before the call ended my mum was promised that it will be escalated to a manager. Till this day the issue hasn't been dealt with and to put the cherry ontop Telkom decided to close/suspend the phone my mum was paying so well since February to combine it with the the phone bill she doesn't even posses. Please help...this is too much. We've tried everything under the sun to get this issue resolved.
