I also got 1.74 on my 2G, just got off a call with vodacom turns out they are bumping up 2g contracts to 3G but looks like they gave a bit extra for some reason. Strange this was not covered on the news section, i thought my portal was broken or something

Only postpaid and topup contracts for now. Once-off bundles, by definition, ar on the latest pricing and with the promos are pretty good.

No worries. Will sign up for the Afrihost 5GB at R145 promo tomorrow. If successful and I get the MiFi gadget I will cancel my Vodacom "promo" bundle

It would seem that this bump is only for those on 2Gb (as someone pointed out above). I have a 3Gb contract that got nothing.

Wonder when this will occur for customers who make use of VAS small or large Month-to-month re-occurring Data bundles, as these bundles have not been discounted like SIM's linked to contracts with devices. I have tried asking your executives but alas all we receive is silence.Especially the 5/10Gb ones.

Jannie thanks for the reply. I will study the customer monthly letters and other media to see if there are any changes for the VAS bundle users especially the 5/10GB. R789 for 5Gig VAS month-to-month is "Baie Geld"
