im sure we all have the message that avg 7.1 will be discontinued does this mean avg is no longer free?

i download avast but its only for 59 days

I've been using Avast for 2 years now - free. Go to their website and get a free reg key - which lasts for about 11 months. Then go get another (11 months from now). No hassle. No spam.

Yeah, I got mrs chiskop using ClamWin. Nice integration with Outlook, and no problems for 18 months.

Me, I use kubuntu AV.

avg will prtect you just fine

at a lan turn off file sharing and you wont get a virus

turn on windows firewall and your fine with avg
